Leila Pourarkin

Leila has spent her career working on complex international challenges, with a particular focus on climate change, development, geopolitics and diplomacy. She has held leadership roles in the UK Government, including as an international climate negotiator during the Paris Agreement process, and has led programmes supporting climate and economic development in emerging economies. Today, Leila advises governments, philanthropies, NGOs and businesses on climate strategy, energy transition and international cooperation. She has served in advisory and board roles focused on social and environmental impact. Leila brings to SNS experience in leadership, governance and stakeholder engagement, together with a strong belief in the power of constructive dialogue to build understanding across differences.
